As we head into Thanksgiving week, I want to pause for a moment and remind you of something simple, but powerful:
Gratitude changes the way we move through the world.
Before the holiday rush, the travel plans, the meals, and the noise of the season — Take a moment to acknowledge everything you've been carrying, everything you've been working toward, and everything you've already overcome this year.
A grateful heart creates a calm mind.
A calm mind leads to better choices.
And better choices lead to a stronger, steadier you — body, mind, and spirit.
I'm continually amazed by your dedication to your own growth. The effort you put into showing up, learning, moving, adjusting, and trying again inspires me daily. I am so thankful for you.
And while gratitude comes easy when life feels light, remember this:
Setbacks are normal, especially during the holidays, routines get interrupted, schedules shift, and life gets loud.
It's okay.
Just breathe, stay grounded, and do the best you can in each moment. The path may curve, but you are still moving forward.
I'll be travelling next week to spend time with family and recharge a bit, so there will be no classes or personal training from 11/22 to 11/29. We'll jump right back in when I return.
In the meantime, if you find yourself with a little extra time or space, get outside, move your body, and reconnect with the simple things that bring you joy. (You know I will be looking for a big mountain to climb and participating in a Turkey Trot with my entire family!) Gratitude becomes even richer when we pair it with movement, fresh air, and presence.
And as you gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, I hope you feel surrounded by love, peace, warmth, and God's steady guidance.
Know that I'm incredibly grateful for each of you — your trust, your kindness, and your willingness to let me be a part of your journey.
Wishing you a beautiful, joy-filled Thanksgiving.
Take care of yourselves, take care of each other, and count every blessing — big and small.
Happy Thanksgiving!
